My name is Ian Patrick Corrigan.
I grew up all over the place.
I have a BA in digital media production.
I shoot/edit videos, write scripts,
photograph, and do sound recording/editing.
Having fun while I do them is my agenda.
Business is pleasure.
Brain is a movie I wrote and directed in Spring of 2010. It is about a conspiracy theorist’s struggle between preserving his father’s memory and preserving the relationship with the woman he loves.
Shelby Turner and Millie Rose gave me excellent performances, I am greatly indebted to them for how well this little film turned out.
It was shot in HD on a sony FX1000.
A film focused on hands.
This is a documentary Mike Siemens and I made about Howard Hughes video store in Moscow idaho. The documentary is about how the store started, what the store means to the employees, and what is will happen to it as a business.
This is a zine I put together called Big Deal. It was an outlet to talk about Idaho’s music scene, but also publish interviews, articles, and work by friends that were producing content that I felt needed to published. I’m not super pleased with it, but I chose to do it, the next issue will be out this summer. I don’t know when, but it will.

Please Quit Smoking is a photoblog that I started after an allergic reaction to a comforter I suffered at the Quality Inn in Kennewick, Washington. I went for a walk and ended up in the parking lot of the Kennewick mall. I noticed how empty but at the same time used the space in parking lot was and how paired everything that was in the parking lot was.
The spaces were vacuums, places to throw light and be very specific about what was revealed, the pairing of things together in an inanimate space. I also wanted to tell the story of the night at the Quality Inn and how it is hard to let things go, like strip mall cuisine and gift cards.
No Salt, No Ice, No electricity.
This is a photoblog I started to document my time in Idaho. Cliches, moments, people, things around me.
I complimented the photos with text. I want the text to contextualize the photos. The idea of text altering the reference of an image helps me explore a viewer’s belief and perception of what is taking place in the photograph. I wanted to work on imparting beliefs and/or creating an atmosphere in the image that wouldn’t be present without text.
